This is an amazing and powerful tool based on jQuery. Definitely worth the time investment to study. Especially now that web stuff seems to be moving towards heavy-handed client-side and just passing everything to server through Ajax and getting it back the same way.
This together with Twitter's bootstrap will allow for building professional looking, easy to use, and easy to maintain websites in a very short period of time.
And I bet it will be just as good for windows 8 app development... that I still didn't have the time to get into.
